5 Fun Facts about Our Olive Soap

Christal and Pui Teng share the differences between our natural handmade soap and commercial soap.

Our olive soap is the gentlest unscented moisturising soap, suitable for all skin types including eczema and psoriasis across all ages too.

It is made with just 3 ingredients with olive oil as the main ingredient. We chose olive oil as it is hypoallergenic.

Fun Fact 1: Our olive soap is handmade using the cold process method with no additional heat used to facilitate the saponification process.

Fun Fact 2: Glycerine which is the natural by-product of soap making process is still left intact inside the handmade soap unlike commercial soaps.

Fun Fact 3: Glycerine is highly prized because it acts as a humectant which draws moisture from the air onto your skin to help moisturise.

Fun Fact 4: To prolong the use of the soap, keep it away from sitting in water by using a soap dish with sufficient drainage or a soap net.

Fun Fact 5: On average, a bar of soap can last between 4 - 6 weeks if used twice daily by a person.
